Dr. Phil Ball is originally from the Kingston area and has been practising at St. Lawrence Veterinary Services since graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2004. Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Ball obtained a Biology degree from Queen's University. He is currently a co-owner of the St. Lawrence Veterinary Services practice.
Dr. Ball practices both large and small animal medicine with special interests in small animal surgery and dentistry. He especially enjoys canine stifle (knee) surgery, and is able to perform both extra-capsular nylon suture repairs as well as the newer and more advanced Tightrope method for stabilizing cranial cruciate ligament ruptures.
Phil lives north of Kingston with his family and their crazy chocolate Labrador retriever named Pilot. In his spare time, Phil enjoys playing Ice Hockey, Snowmobiling, and spending time with his family.
